Job Description:

Balboa Business Center is looking to hire an enthusiastic Retail/Office Associate to join our fun work environment. This role is for a Part-time worker and has the ability to evolve into a Full-time or Managerial position as well. We are looking for friendly, energetic people that come from customer-oriented and business-minded backgrounds and have a passion for helping and teaching others. This is a great opportunity to build your interpersonal communication skills, management skills, understand how businesses work and build new skills.

Job Duties: 

- Packing and shipping for customers

- Sorting, organizing, filing mail

- Ringing up customers

- Making copies and faxing

- Printing and scanning documents 

- Provide Notary Public services

- Passport photo services

- Mailbox sorting and processing services

- Binding/Book making and laminating

- Stocking merchandise

- Store cleanup and taking out trash

- Other similar tasks as needed

- All staff are required to pass a Notary exam (We pay) and Must also pass a Federal and State background check.

- No prior experience, No problem. Excellent training will be provided for the right candidate.

- Must always be on time!

- Must be Detail oriented (Details matter)

- Customer service friendly and BE helpful

- Have some sales experience

- Must like people and work well with others

- Can Multi-task and work well under pressure

- Offer suggestions and find solutions for customers

- Communicate and Write effectively and clearly

- Computer knowledgable with Microsoft Word, Excel, Acrobat and other frequently used programs

- Able to lift 40-50 lbs. 

- Able to stand for 4 hours

- Must be able to work a flexible schedule from Monday - Friday 9am-8pm and Saturday if needed.

- Trustworthy, honest and reliable

- Regardless of your experience, if you're a hard worker, have an open mind and willing to learn. We will train you to be an expert.

Preferred but not required:

- Previous UPS , Fedex or mailbox experience

- Previous retail and customer service experience 

- Shipping & packaging experience a plus, but not required 

- Printing and Promotional Specialty background

- Notary license (will pay a bonus if already licensed)

- A background in Computer, Networking, Business Dev, Marketing, Management

- A Background in Social media, Facebook, Instagram, SEO, Google, Website design experience
